At MyMuse, we respect your right to privacy and data control. You can request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.

This page explains how to submit a data deletion request and what data will be removed.

Important Notice

Deleting your account is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover your profile, content, or any associated data.

How to Request Deletion

To request the deletion of your account and associated data, please send an email to:

Your MyMuse username
The email address associated with your account
Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
A clear statement requesting account deletion

Data That Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:

Account Information

Username, email, password, profile settings

Profile Data

Bio, avatar, banner, social links

Content

All posts, images, videos, and media you uploaded

Interactions

Likes, comments, follows, subscriptions

Messages

Direct messages and conversations

Payment Information (Creators)

Paxum email, earnings history, payout records

Analytics & Logs

Usage data, device information, IP addresses

Data That May Be Retained

In certain cases, we may be required to retain some data:

Legal Obligations: Transaction records for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years)
Fraud Prevention: Information related to violations of our terms or illegal activity
Backups: Automated backups may retain data for up to 90 days
Anonymous Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics that cannot identify you

Deletion Timeline

Email Received

We verify your identity and confirm the request

Within 7 Days

Your account is deactivated and scheduled for deletion

Within 30 Days

All personal data is permanently deleted from our systems

Up to 90 Days

Data removed from backups (automatic process)

✓ You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

Facebook Login Data Deletion

If you signed up using Facebook Login, deleting your MyMuse account will also remove any data we received from Facebook, including your Facebook ID and profile information.

To remove MyMuse's access to your Facebook account, visit Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites and remove MyMuse from the list.
